The 2017 Dodge College "Women in Focus" filmmaking panel happened on April 7th at the Folio Theater. Panelists included directors Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), Niki Caro (Whale Rider), Sydney Freeland (Deidra & Laney Rob a Train), Kelly Fremon Craig (Edge of Seventeen), and Haifaa Al Mansour (Wadjda). The moderator was producer Susan Cartsonis (What Women Want).
Women in Focus is an annual conference featuring a panel of the most prominent women in the film profession participating in an open discussion with students and the community regarding their personal experiences in the industry.
