A judge in Phoenix, Arizona just determined that all dogs and cats sold from local pet stores must be rescue animals.
The reason: To crack down on inhumane breeding practices...
And reduce the euthanasia rate for homeless animals.
This should be a wake-up call for the estimated 10,000 puppy mills in the U.S.
Roughly 1,055,435 puppies are produced by mills in the U.S. every year, according to The Humane Society.
