This is just a quick video we took at Laguna Beach to test out the new XAVC S Format on the Sony HX90v. Check back for more in dept tests! Updated below:
Initial impressions of this camera:
- Smaller than the SonyHX50v but the hand grip isn't as nice.
- The flip out screen works great even in bright light. Very similar to the Samgsung NX500.
- When taking stills the time to process is only about a second faster than the Sony HX50v (kind of disapointing)
- The image stablization on the Sony HX90v seems to be an improvement over the HX50v.
- Check out our video of the Bryan Fuller "Hannibal" conversation to see how the Sony HX90v handles low light.
- Check out our video of The Happy Together Tour to see how the camera does in a concert situation.
After comparing the SonyHX90v vs the SonyHX50v in low light, the 90v is vastly improved over the 50v.
We will update further when we have more time to test. Thanks for watching!
