We visited the Sony booth at NAB to check out the Sony RX10 MarkIII. It's Sony's latest high end point and shoot camera which retails for around $1,500. The first thing we noticed is that it's big and bulky but solid. It's comparable in size more to the Sony HX400v than it is to the pocket sized Sony RX100iv. The camera takes 4K video that can be directly edited in Adobe without having to unwrap it first. The downside is how noisy the camera is in low light. For a point and shoot that is to be somewhat expected. But at the price of $1,500, it should give comparable performance to similarly priced mirrorless cameras.
